While crowded field of Democrats compete for title of “most extreme,” Republican Jones offers grounded vision for accountability, opportunity, and security
Essex, MA – Today, US Army veteran, attorney, husband, and father Micah Jones launched his campaign to represent the diverse people of Massachusetts’ Sixth Congressional District. Jones’ announcement included the release of a video entitled “Our Moment.”
Jones, a practicing attorney since 2019, an Army veteran who served in Afghanistan, a husband, and a father of two young children has been drawn to service by his love of country and deep concern for the division infecting our politics.
“I am running for congress because I love this country and the greater North Shore community that my wife and I are so fortunate to call home and raise our children in,” said Jones. “Congress is broken – career politicians, special interests, and ideologue activists are prioritizing their own personal gain more than in serving the people they represent. This needs to change. I am focused on helping the hard-working people of the Sixth District recapture the American Dream and build a brighter future.
This truly is our moment. Right now, we have an opportunity to say clearly and loudly that we deserve something better from our elected leaders. When elected, I will serve Massachusetts’ Sixth District, and bring back common sense – to make our lives more affordable, our government more accountable, and our country more secure. I’m excited to share my optimistic, and practical plan for success with my neighbors in the Sixth District.”
Micah Q. Jones lives in Essex, MA with his wife, son and, daughter.
