Security

What is Security?

Security means knowing your family is safe, your community is protected, and your country is prepared to meet real-world threats – without overreaction or fear. It means strong institutions, capable public servants, and leadership that takes emerging risks seriously while remaining grounded and accountable to the people it serves.

Security is not just about military strength abroad, it’s about stability, trust, and preparedness at home.

Our Problem

The world is becoming more complex and dangerous, while our institutions are struggling to adapt.

Families across the Massachusetts 6th District feel this uncertainty in different ways:

  • Growing global instability that drives conflict and economic disruption
  • Border systems that are inconsistent, strained, and politically gridlocked
  • Rapid technological change – especially artificial intelligence – outpacing laws and safeguards
  • First responders and service members being asked to do more with outdated systems and unclear support

When security policy becomes reactive, partisan, or disconnected from everyday life, trust erodes, and real risks grow.

Our Solution

Security is strongest when it is steady, lawful, and forward-looking.

As your member of Congress, my focus will be on reinforcing the systems that protect all Americans, while ensuring they are accountable, constitutional, and aligned with our values.

That means concentrating on a small number of practical areas where Congress has real influence. Here is what I pledge to do when I arrive in Congress:

  • Supporting service members, veterans, and first responders
  • Building a secure, lawful, fair, and humane immigration system
  • Maintaining our technological edge, especially in the new frontier of Artificial Intelligence
  • Strengthening the United States’ role in our changing world

Security is strongest when it is built on preparation, accountability, and trust.
